Enjoy your even burn!
To ensure an even pool and avoid "tunneling," please allow your beeswax candle to burn for at least 1-2.5 hours. Burning for less than an hour can create a "memory ring," where the candle will only ever burn up to the point it was last extinguished.
Beeswax candles are sensitive to drafts, which can cause uneven burning. Please place your candle away from vents, fans, open windows, or areas with significant airflow.
Please use a candle snuffer rather than blowing the candle out. A snuffer prevents debris from entering the wax and avoids unpleasant smells or an uneven surface. Additionally, do not use the lid to extinguish the candle, as this can alter its essence.
Store your candle in a cool, dry space away from direct sunlight or heat sources to prevent the wax from melting unevenly. Keep the wax pool clean by removing any debris, such as dust or wick trimmings, from the top.
Never leave a candle unattended and always keep it away from children and flammable substances. Do not move the candle while it is lit or touch it immediately after it has been extinguished, as it will remain hot.
Once the candle has completely cooled and returned to its original form, you can trim the wick. We recommend cutting it right before the wooden wick opens up.
Please note that a crack in the beeswax is normal. This happens as the wax shrinks while cooling and will not affect the quality or burn time of your candle.
